Akosua Dankwaa Foundation Wins Excellence in Educational Empowerment Award at 2024 Ghana Philanthropy Awards
The Akosua Dankwaa Foundation (ADF) was adjudged Excellence in Educational Empowerment at the 2024 Ghana Philanthropy Awards held in Accra, Ghana on Friday, November 8, 2024.
The educational foundation was awarded for significantly empowering individuals and communities through education by providing them with scholarships and other educational resources.
The ADF scholarship scheme is a selfless giving institution greatly dedicated to shaping Ghanaian society. Since its establishment, the foundation has empowered a large number of brilliant but needy students to pursue higher education.
This initiative aims to drive positive change in Ghanaian society and the world at large. The foundation seeks to identify and support exceptionally brilliant but needy students. The foundation caters for students from basic education through to undergraduate and postgraduate studies in various fields, including Medicine, Engineering, Nursing, Technology, Journalism, and Social Sciences.
ADF does not only support students financially however, the ADF team provides regular check-ins, other resources, and networking opportunities for its beneficiaries.
Over the years, The Akosua Dankwaa Foundation has impacted the lives of many individuals by giving them access to free and quality education, making the foundation truly deserving of this award.
