Raheem Sterling has teamed up with King’s College London to develop a scholarship initiative that will give financial aid to exceptional but economically disadvantaged learners, in an encouraging move to encourage education and talented youth.
The well-known football player’s scholarship program demonstrates his dedication to developing the next generation and giving back to the community. Understanding that education has the ability to change lives, Sterling has partnered with one of the most prominent colleges in the UK to remove financial obstacles that frequently keep gifted students from realizing their full potential.
The scholarship will be made available to each student as a £7,000 stipend and an annual fee remission of £9,250. The maximum duration of the award is three years. Funding will not be provided to students for repeated years, a year abroad, or delays.
